Tyson’s Corner Center is only a five minute drive away, and this is known as one of the largest shopping malls in the United States. The mall has a range of high end stores as well as those which are more budget friendly. 

There are also a number of parks in the area, with trails for running, walking and cycling as well as plenty of areas to relax. Wolftrap Creek is one of the closest parks to Carriage Hill. There is a trail alongside the creek which is suitable for all fitness levels. Many choose to take a leisurely stroll along the trail because it is a great place to spot birds that you may not see in the more built up areas of Carriage Hill. Other parks in the area include Northside Park and Fred Crabtree Park.
