The Charlestown Townhome Community is located in a neighborhood of Springfield, VA. It is run by the Charlestown Owners Association.

Those looking to move into Charlestown should expect a colonial feel. There are even American flags on the exteriors of some of the buildings as part of the home structure. It is a patriotic place that has diversity in the building structures for visual interest.

The builders worked on putting in unique structures though they are semi-detached. This means that there are full brick exteriors on some of the townhomes in Charlestown as well as white washed units. The five styles of building are Hermitage, Concord, Madison, Jefferson and Fairfax. It lends to an architectural style that rejects the symmetry that is so often found in suburban communities.

The first units in this arrangement were completed in 1966. This means there is a historical feel in Charlestown as well due to the age of the homes. One can expect to pay around $550,000 for a townhome. This price is fairly standard for a home in Springfield and is lower than the price of detached homes.
