- I sell a lot of condos in Arlington, and for people who can afford it, I notice that condos along the Orange Line are the most popular. If I were shopping for a condo, my first choice would be somewhere along the Orange Line, since it always experiences higher demand and is therefore tough to beat as an investment. A close second in my mind would be a split between Dunn Loring and Old Town Alexandria.

- The Ballston real estate market is always booming, but the Ballston Mall renovation project will only make this area even more desirable. I grew up in this area in the 1970s and 1980s, and I thought Ballston Mall was awesome as a kid, but the 80s décor has definitely lost its flavor and isn’t what you would call chic retro! The renovation will make this mall look and feel more like the Market Common in Clarendon, which is one of the most popular shopping centers in the area.
