…One of the highlights of the Falls Church farmers market is the monthly Chef Series they offer. Every month a chef from a nearby restaurant teaches locals how to use and prepare some of the best seasonal foods. Locals flock to these exhibitions each month; the knowledge these chefs share is a huge draw.
Broadway of Falls Church residents also like to play on their days off. Fortunately for them there are plenty of local parks to stoll, bike, or skateboard in. Children delight in being able to run and enjoy local playgrounds. The local Recreation and Parks Department has year-round recreational and leisure activities available for all age groups as well as interest levels. The parks department holds many city-wide community activities throughout the year.

Local residents, and Broadway residents, love to get out of the city and get back in touch nature. Fortunately, Great Falls Park is just minutes from home. This wonderful park, along the mighty Potomac River, offers everything from the fast and furious Mather Gorge, to the slower waters in the Patowmack Canal. This beautiful 800 acre park offers visitors the opportunity to travel back in time and learn about early American history.
