Neighborhood

Centreville Crossing condos are situated about 20 miles southwest of Washington D.C. The neighborhood encompasses a 12 mile stretch. The area was originally named Newgate during the 1760's, after a very popular tavern. It was in 1792 that Centreville was officially established. The town was also the site for the first railroad that was built during the Civil War for the use of the military. By 1990 the area saw a drastic increase as a result of an influx of technological companies and the associated jobs they brought with them. 

Local Attractions

Residents can visit many nearby historical sites, such as the Stuart Mosby Civil War Calvary Museum. There are also some annual local events to be enjoyed like Cox Farm's Fall Festival and a wine festival known as the Vintage Virginia Wine Festival.

There are many nearby shops and restaurants to visit as well, such as Giant Foods, Trader Joe's, Copper Canyon, Sweet Water Tavern, Bonefish and Carrabbas. Entertainment can be found at a number of parks, libraries and the movie theater.
