Choosing the Right Title Company in Northern Virginia

There are a lot of title companies in Northern Virginia, and most of them offer competitive rates for their services. What usually differentiates them is the level of service that they offer.

Whichever title company in Northern Virginia that you choose, it’s important that they are organized, efficient, responsive, and have great lawyers on staff to answer questions and resolve challenges that sometimes come up in real estate contracts.

I do 25 to 30 sales per year, and I've worked with a lot of title companies in Northern Virginia. I’ve experienced a good number of title companies that don’t do a great job, which creates more stress for a home buyer.

Believe it or not, I was helping a client sell a property one time, and the title company they had used when they bought their home several years earlier had not made sure everything was recorded correctly, so my clients' names were never listed on the tax record. Needless to say, this created a huge headache when trying to sell the property.

So whichever company you use, you just want to make sure their staff is really good at what they do.
