Home Sale Tips – When Buyer Agent Commissions Are Effective
Buyer agent bonuses really only work if a home is well priced. It’s a way of differentiating your home from the competition – not a way of making up for an overpriced home. If your home is already overpriced, by offering an extra buyer agent commission, you’re basically asking the buyer agent to sell their clients an overpriced home. If you were in the buyers’ shoes, would you buy that home? A real estate agent’s job is to represent their client’s best interests, so they’re simply going to advise their buyer client that the home in question is overpriced.
