Home Selling Info – When is it a Good Idea to Buy First?
…If, on the other hand, you’re in a hot real estate market where there is lots of competition, a seller is not as likely to accept an offer with a home sale contingency because there will likely be other offers that don’t have them. If you don’t have to sell your home in order to buy a new home, or if you are paying cash, then finding and buying your home of choice before you sell your home is a good idea.
Selling First:
In most cases, it is advisable to sell your home or at least list it for sale first before you begin to seriously look for a new home. This is to protect your own interests and keep you from becoming overextended financially.
