Home Selling Info – Selling First

…That said, once you sell your home, you may be under substantial pressure to find a new home, and you don’t want that to cause you to settle for a home that isn’t quite ideal. You do have the option of requesting a longer closing period (such as 60 or 90 days) from your buyers, but they may not agree to this. Another option is to request a “rent back” from the buyers, which enables you to close on your home sale and rent your home from the buyers for a short period after closing. This enables you to have the money from your home sale in your account and be free of your mortgage, enabling you to purchase a new home right away. If all else fails, you can always rent for a while, until you find the right home to buy.
