The National Inventors Hall of Fame is a great option when you’re searching for a cheap, yet interesting way to spend a few hours. Located in the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on Dulaney St., admission is free. Remodeled in 2014, the National Inventors Hall of Fame museum offers a unique look at more than 500 different inventors and their technological advancements and achievements.

Interactive exhibits and an informative staff, along with interesting displays on a variety of inventions that have completely changed the world, make the museum a fun and entertaining place to visit. Inventors featured in the museum include everyone from those who completely changed the world decades, or even centuries ago, such as Thomas Edison, Eli Whitney, Alexander Graham Bell to modern day innovators, including Steve Jobs and Gary Starkweather, who brought us the laser printer. The National Inventors Hall of Fame museum also includes a gift shop with a unique selection of merchandise, apparel, and books related to the Hall of Fame and the USPTO.
