The more people who can buy your home, the better, as this increases competition among buyers, which drives up the price. All things being equal, a buyer who is getting a loan on a property is more likely to offer a higher price than a buyer who is paying cash.

If you decide to sell your home for cash, it’s usually best to still list it with a real estate agent on the MLS. Why? This instantly exposes it to a lot more buyers.
