Located about an hour from the nation's capital, ten miles outside of Leesburg lies a beautiful 50-acre boutique winery called the Vineyards and Winery at Lost Creek. This scenic destination is where you can find high-quality Burgundy and Bordeaux style wines that you can enjoy in an elegant, but casual, atmosphere.

At Lost Creek, the owners (Aimee and Todd Henkle) are dedicated to making wines of the highest quality. To this end, all their grape varietals are handpicked and sorted to make sure that only the best fruits are used in their vintages. Once the stems are removed from the grapes and the fruit are crushed, their wines are aged in French oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months, a process that makes elegant, complex, and deeply satisfying wines.
You can enjoy their selections at The Tasting Bar where visitors get a guided tour of seven of their vintages. While here you can also enjoy their wine and truffle pairings, a wonderful experience that chocolate lovers are sure to love.
