The main benefit, of course, is that you won’t have to spend valuable time and money on repairs. However, it’s important to understand that you’ll generally get a lower sales price on your property as a result. 

In a regular sale, a homebuyer agrees on a sales price with a seller that is based on their visual impression of the home after they tour it. The buyer understands that after their home inspection, they can negotiate to have the seller repair certain issues that come up during the inspection, which often makes them feel more comfortable with paying a higher price on the home.
