In addition to being less than half a mile from Ballston Common Mall, as well as everything it has to offer, including more than 130 stories and restaurants, a movie theater, and Kettler Capitals Iceplex, there are plenty more dining, shopping, and entertainment options within walking distance of Windsor Plaza condos.

Nearby restaurants include SER Restaurant, which serves authentic Spanish cuisine and features a global wine list, as well as Hunan Gate, which not only serves delicious Chinese food but delivers to the Windsor Plaza condominium. Residents in the mood to cook a homemade meal can quickly and easily pick up groceries less than a mile away at Harris Teeter or Arlington Market. As an added bonus, the Ballston Farmers Market is located less a quarter mile away at Welburn Square. It is open on Thursdays from April to October. 

Several parks are within walking distance of the condo community, including Quincy Park which includes baseball fields, tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, and a covered picnic area. Hayes Park is also nearby and is perfect for children, thanks to the playgrounds and summer splash pad. 

Students living in this Ballston condo community attend Ashlawn Elementary School, Swanson Middle School, and Washington-Lee High School.
