Changing Light Fixtures – One of The DIY Home Renovations That Gives You a Lot of Bank for Your Buck
Lighting is one aspect that is often overlooked in home renovations but that can really add some pizazz to an area. For example, if you have outdated light fixtures, consider upgrading to newer lighting fixtures. Even done in a few key areas, such as pendant lights over a kitchen bar or a new (but inexpensive) chandelier in the dining room, lighting can really make a big difference and catch a buyer’s eye.
Your Front Door
The exterior of your home also makes an impression on potential buyers. Project a sense of strength by replacing your run of the mill door knob with a more substantial looking handle and lock set. You may also want to consider painting your basic steel door to add even more appeal.
