Spending Money For Home Improvements on Upscale Homes
If you own a more upscale home that is valued at a higher price point, the market for buyers for your property will look a little different. Perhaps the main type of buyers who will be interested in your home will be “move-up” buyers who are purchasing a single family home in Northern Virginia instead of a townhome. These buyers might be at a place in their lives when they have higher incomes and more money that they can put toward a higher down payment. When allocating money for home improvements in this kind of situation, you might want to focus on more upscale upgrades that make sense for a more expensive home.
