The Synetic Theater, founded in 2001 in the Crystal City neighborhood of Arlington, VA is a non-profit theater with a well deserved reputation for putting on unique, mesmerizing, and unforgettable performances. In fact, the theater has won 27 Helen Hayes Awards, which recognize excellence in theater, and received 120 nominations as of 2016. The theater has also previously been named one of the 13 Innovative Physical Theater Companies in the world.

Each production is a culmination of fantastic sets, exquisite costumes, great music, magical acting, breathtaking aerobatics, and flawless choreography. As an added bonus, thanks to the theater’s intimate size, there are no bad seats, though all seats are quite spacious and comfortable.
While every performance at Synetic is nothing short of outstanding, those that really stand out are the wordless Shakespeare productions, which must be seen to be fully appreciated.
