The fact is that there's absolutely nothing quite like it anywhere in McLean or the surrounding areas. The Reserve covers a lush 258 acres of beautifully wooded western McLean property.
The Reserve in McLean is quite different from many other neighborhoods because of its large Colonial homes that all look like stately mansions. The majority of The Reserve homes for sale were built between 1999 and 2007. This is why you'll find plenty of dormer windows, elegant columns, entry porticos, and yards filled with very attractive landscaping. So, if you're looking for estate-style homes in a beautiful upscale neighborhood, then you should take a closer look around The Reserve in McLean.
The Reserve is close enough to all of the amazing amenities of McLean to be convenient but still far enough outside of town to give it a private estate feel. As part of what is known as the Garfield Park subdivision, the Reserve is located just off the Potomac near the woods for that living-close-to-nature feeling. It's just west of 495, occupying some prime acreage between Georgetown Pike to the north and Old Dominion Drive to the south. McLean offers the best of life in Northern Virginia, with ample green space and numerous large homes available in lush wooded areas.
It is only 7.77 miles from McLean to our nation's capital if heading due southeast and 10 miles by car if you follow the GWMP route. Basically, McLean and D.C. are only 15 minutes apart when driving non-stop. Just past the Georgetown Pike, you'll find the Potomac River.
