Where is Mantua located and what is nearby?
Mantua is a single-family detached homes subdivision located just outside the Beltway in Fairfax inside of Fairfax County Virginia. Mantua is one of these neighborhoods that’s close to a lot of stuff. But, you still feel like you’re farther removed from things- which is really nice. Strathmeade Springs is to the East and Fairfax to the West. Mantua is located between Arlington Blvd/Route 50 to the north and Little River Turnpike to the South. It is nestled between Pickett Rd, Glenbrook Rd and Prosperity Avenue with easy access to the local highways. Ronald Reagan National Airport is located just a 25-26 min (depending on traffic patterns). If you’re interested in taking the Metro, the Vienna Station is 10 minutes away. So your commute to DC from this area (by car) is totally going to depend on traffic patterns. And if you’ve watched some of my other videos, you’ll understand how bad traffic can get in the DC area. So, it’s just really important to analyze your possible commute times from any of these neighborhoods. Mantua is a super convenient location for commuters, running local errands, and experiencing all that Northern Virginia has to offer. Nearby Mantua, you’ll find several pharmacies, shopping & retail stores. Inova Hospital is a 20 minute drive from here. You have plenty of coffee shops to choose from! Restaurants nearby feature Greek, Italian, seafood, American and Tex-Mex cuisine- pretty much anything you can think of. Outdoor excursion opportunities include Hidden Oaks Nature Center & Eakin Community Park if you’re looking for hiking, trails and picnic areas. Don’t forget to take a quick trip into Washington DC to visit the museums, monuments, and historical attractions.
