Doukenie Winery is located near historic Leesburg, Virginia in the town of Hillsboro. This vineyard sits on over 400 acres of pristine land, a mere 50 miles from the Nation's Capital, and produces anywhere from 4,000 to 5,000 cases of delectable wine every year.

Doukenie Vineyard History

The Doukenie Vineyard was founded in 1985 by the Bazaco family but, they didn't produce their first vintage until 1995. They say that anything worth doing right is worth taking your time. And this must be true because, since that time, this family vineyard has been the recipient of a number a number of prestigious awards for their vintages. Their selection consists of a raspberry wine, 10 red wines, and 6 red wines; all of which can be purchased through their Heritage Club.

Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, you may visit Doukenie Vineyard for the wine but you will stay for the sensory experience and the scenery. Its serene atmosphere will amaze you and cajole you into forgetting that you are smack dab next to one of the most powerful cities in the world.
