The Process of Home Buying – The Exploration Phase
As you first start to consider buying a home in Northern Virginia, it’s good to begin exploring what’s available in certain areas you’re interested in. An easy way to do that is get property listings alerts from my website with your search criteria. Basically, this just involves putting some search parameters into my home search website, and my website will email you when new properties that fit your criteria come on the market. You can set your alerts to come daily or weekly.
Do you have very specific criteria, like wanting to be a half mile away from a Metro station, or wanting to be north or south of a particular road? Not a problem at all. As you start seeing properties that are available, you’ll get a good idea of which areas you prefer, and what the market is like in those areas, which is a very important part of the process of home buying. Whenever you see properties you’re curious about, feel free to let me know. I’m never too busy to show properties, and sometimes it’s good to get a feel for certain communities, even if it's still early on in your home search.
