This museum is dedicated to two Confederates, General James Ewell Brown (Jeb) Stuart, and Colonel John Mosby. During the Civil War these men, and their Partisan Raiders, called most of what is now known as Fairfax County into what was then called Mosby's Confederacy.
The Stuart-Mosby Civil War Cavalry Museum is open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday; hours on Saturday and Monday are 10am - 4pm, and Sunday hours are from 1pm - 4pm. This quaint museum is just the sort of place to visit when you need a short break from sitting in a vehicle.
