The Bluemont Park is a seventy-acre pastoral park which offers all kinds of activities including jogging, biking, basketball, hiking, baseball and softball fields, disc golf, lacrosse, grass fields for soccer, volleyball and tennis courts, football, tennis court practice wall, healthy vending machines, a school-age playground, picnic areas, natural areas with streams, and multi-use paths. The park is also home to several fitness-based community events, which include the annual Turtle Trot 5K race and the Walk for Animals, put on by the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. 

Lubber Run Park has lots of fun things for everyone to enjoy. Use the basketball court to shoot hoops or go to the volleyball court to practice your serve. Take your friends or family underneath the picnic shelter for an outdoor meal, relax under the gazebo, cook on charcoal grills, walk the nature trail and paved path, or catch a show at the amphitheater. There are public restrooms as well and drinking fountains available, plus a playground. 

Chestnut Hills Park is a newly renovated 4.43-acre park with plenty of trees for shade and an education theme. It can be found at the corner of 27th St. N. and N. Harrison St. Adults and kids of all ages are able to play on paths which wind through a series of intertwined arches. You can play games here as well which include finding numbers, letters, shapes, or colors. Other play features include a school bus, wavy climbing feature, slide, school house, music/sound column, and spinner. 

Gateway Park is a beautiful park that is three acres big. In September, you can enjoy the annual Rosslyn Jazz Festival that is held each year. It is the perfect place to watch the 4th of July fireworks and from the Skywalk you get a nice view of Georgetown. Fort Meyer Drive divides this park and children can also enjoy a sandbox on the west side of the park.
