Jackson Court is a condo community consisting of 12 three- and four-story townhomes on Jackson Street North constructed in 1981. The townhomes have several different layouts, with either three or four bedrooms and between three and five bathrooms. They are built around a shared courtyard, they have brick exteriors with shuttered windows, and some also have a bay window.
Although the layouts of the townhomes vary, a shared feature that they all share is a spacious layout, which is something that the residents love. Residents also love having some outdoor space, as there is a shared courtyard to the front of the properties, and each townhome also has a back patio.
The residents also love the central location of these condos. They enjoy having shops, restaurants, activities, transport links, and other amenities within walking distance of their homes.
Inside the properties, there is plenty of space on every level. Most condos have two living rooms with fireplaces, a separate dining room, and updated kitchens. They also have a basement, and some have boarded-out attics that offer additional space for storage. There is wooden flooring throughout most properties.
The units benefit from both outdoor space and off-street parking. The attractive shared courtyard is paved and has trees and shrubbery. To the rear of the properties, residents can enjoy spending time outdoors in their private, enclosed patios. In terms of parking, residents have one assigned parking space, and there is also on-street parking available.
It is easy for the residents of Jackson Court to get around the area using public transport. The properties are located just three blocks from both Clarendon Metro and VA Square/GMU Metro station on Fairfax drive. There are also multiple bus stops along Wilson Boulevard, which is just a few minutes on foot from the Jackson Court condos.
Those who drive will find it just as easy to get around Arlington or to the surrounding area. It is only a short drive from Jackson Street North to Custis Memorial Parkway (I-66), Arlington Boulevard, and North Glebe Road, which are all routes that connect to the towns and cities surrounding Arlington.
Within walking distance of the condos at Jackson Court, there are many restaurants, bars, takeouts, and shops. The condos are also within walking distance of Oakland Park, Gum Ball Park, Maury Park Tennis Courts, Arlington Public Tennis Courts, and Quincy Park.
Elsewhere in Arlington, there are plenty more activities and attractions for people to enjoy. These include The Robert E. Lee Arlington House, Arlington National Cemetery, The Pentagon, the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial, and The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Other attractions include Washington and Old Dominion Trailhead, Gravelly Point, Clarendon Central Park, the Air Force Memorial, Long Branch Nature Center & Park, and Crystal City Water Park.
Due to Arlington's excellent transport links, it is easy for the residents of this area to travel further afield to enjoy the activities and attractions in other parts of Virginia and in Washington D.C.
