On the low end of the price scale, condos can be rented as low as $1,295 a month, and can go as high as $12,000 a month. Rentals can be found everywhere in Old Town - the higher priced ones are usually along the river.

Old Town Alexandria condos priced from $300,000 to $600,000 can have from one to three bedrooms and extras baths, depending on location. Many of the high-rises are in this price range, most with over 1000 square feet of space.

Three bedroom, 2.5 bathroom Old Town Alexandria condos on Fairfax Street, right along the Potomac River, sell for over $3,000,000. These prized homes are single story and have a river-facing porch that stretches the length of the building. Located close to hiking trails, restaurants and a variety of shops, this condo complex is perfect for those who can afford the steep price and desire a larger home for their family.

Condo living in Old Town Alexandria is a blend of the old and new. Older condos exist, but newer high-rises are being built to accommodate all those who wish to live in such a charming community. The cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks in Old Town are just steps away from many of the condos in the area, giving many residents the opportunity to walk to dine or shop, rather than take the car.
