There are plenty more dining options within a mile of the Eclipse condos, such as Shakthi South Asian Cuisine, Mezeh Mediterranean Grill, and Kabob Palace, which also delivers. Additional options include RT’s Restaurant, where authentic Creole/ Cajun food, including alligator stew, is on the menu, and Fresh Chop Chop, considered by many in the area to be the top breakfast destination in the Crystal City area.

In addition, Crystal City Shops are just over a mile away from Eclipse and give residents access to everything from spas and salons to dentist and doctor’s office, pharmacies, the USPS, banks, boutiques, and Synetic Theater.

Crystal City Dog Park is directly behind the Eclipse buildings, which is ideal for residents with dogs. If the residents turn out of the apartments and cross Potomac Avenue and George Washington Memorial Parkway, they can stroll along Mount Vernon Trail.

Behind the dog park is Four Mile Run, and there are trails on both sides of the waterway. By crossing over Four Mile Tun via Richmond Highway, the residents can access Four Mile Run Park, which provides plenty of outdoor space for exercise and leisure purposes, or simply for the residents to enjoy the beautiful greenery. The park encompasses several sports fields and facilities.

Heading in the opposite direction along Richmond Highway, Eclipse residents will find Center Park, Eads Park, Fort Scott Park, and Nelly Custis Park. There are also various leisure and fitness facilities.

Elsewhere in Arlington, there are plenty more outdoor spaces for visitors to enjoy. These include Potomac Overlook Regional Park, the Custis Trail, Long Bridge Park, Upton Hill Regional Park, Fort C.F. Smith Park, Long Branch Nature Center & Park, BonAit Park Rose Garden, Gulf Branch Nature Center & Park, and Rocky Run Park.

Eclipse residents can also enjoy indoor attractions and fun family activities. Some of the top options include Arlington Arts Center, the DEA Museum & Visitors Center, Arlington Historical Museum, Crystal City Water Park, and David M. Brown Planetarium.
